San Diego Colleges and Universities
San Diego California is one of the most diverse cities in North America and is the oldest city in California. Being a coastal Metropolis, San Diego welcomes visitors to its beautiful beaches with a back drop of magnificent mountains and the border to Mexico. The Metropolitan area population is 1.3 million which makes San Diego the seventh largest city in the United States. The National University in San Diego offers an accessible adult learning program to a diverse population. Point Loma Nazarene University was established in 1902, by the Church of the Nazarene, and offers liberal arts and professional programs at its main San Diego campus. San Diego State University offers four year degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts and Sciences with majors and minors in English, History, Latin American Studies, Liberal Studies, Mathematics, Psychology, Social Science and Spanish.

San Diego Mesa College offers schools of Business, Computer and Technologies, Humanities and Languages, Health Sciences/Public Health, Learning Resources and Instructional Support, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, P.E./Health Education and Athletics and Social Behavioral Sciences and Multicultural Studies. Miramar College is one of thee comprehensive community colleges in the San Diego Community College District. Miramar College offers associate degrees and transfer programs for students transferring to UC, CSU and private institutions. Palomar Community College has five academic divisions: Arts, Media, Business and Computer Systems; Career, Technical and Extended Education; Languages and Literature; Mathematics and The Natural and Health Sciences; and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

The Art Institute of California-San Diego specializing in Advertising Art Direction, Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Copywriting, Creative Direction, Advertising Account Supervision and Marketing. Woodbury University offers 15 academic programs in three schools: School of Business and Management, School of Architecture and Design and the School of Arts and Sciences.Thomas Jefferson School of Law and California Western School of Law are both fully accredit and are also located in San Diego.
